Mitten Drive — now until Winter Break

Carney Elementary's Mitten Tree Drive is starting!

Starting this week, the Carney PTA is holding a “mitten drive” to collect children’s mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, and other things important for keeping kids warm during the cold winter months. We will be collecting these items until winter break. Donations will be shared with our Carney community. Please have your child bring their donation to the school lobby and place it in the decorated box next to the Christmas tree. Please do not wrap any items you send in. Also, your child can color this mitten, put their name on it, cut it out, and place it in the box along with their donation. We will hang the paper mittens on our tree to decorate it!
