Carney Families and Friends please help support the school by pledging money to your students class.  Each class is competing against each other to earn awards and medals.  Every Friday class winners will be announced.  The classes that reach the set goals will receive fun prizes and awards.

In addition to our normal activities this year, the PTA wants to purchase an electronic sign which will help students and families stay informed with current and up to date information.   Our fundraising goal this year is $15,000.  Please help us reach our goal so we can make Carney a Gold Medal School!

Don’t miss a Friday! Your class must collect:
$25 by September 9th—Crazy Hat and Hair Day
$50 by September 16th—Mix and Match Day
$100 by September 23—Pajama Day
$200 by September 30th—One Free Snack in the Cafeteria
$400 by October 7th—Mini Olympic Games Invitation

A special assembly will take place and the Towson University Gymnastics Team will present the classrooms with their medals and awards!  All students will enjoy a presentation from the Gymnastic Team!

Join us for an ice cream social and our first General PTA meeting of the school year.  Come meet your PTA Board Members and other parents of Carney Elementary.
        
Individuals who have already signed up to be a member of the PTA will receive a free ice cream sundae for their family. 

Not a member, not a problem! You can sign up that night! 

Enjoy your ice cream sundae while you hear about plans for the upcoming school year.  We will be sharing important information regarding our school that will help you make the most of your experience and time at Carney!
