Academic and School Enrichment

• Sponsored the “Summer Reading Celebration” for students who completed the BCPL summer reading program
• Scholastic Book Fairs
• Provide Cultural Assemblies
• Support Safe Student Ambassador activities
• Provide School Planners for each student
• Partner with the school for many other activities and enrichment support

 Family and Community Involvement

• Partnered with local businesses to host Cuisine Nights
• Partnered with the Carney Improvement Association to offer  “Spring Fling Dumpster Day/Flower Sale” and “Visit with Santa”
• Formed the Dads’ Club and cleaned up the exterior landscape at the entrance of the school (you can also leave the section explaining Dad’s Club with the picture montage)
• Plans Movie Nights, Skateland Night, Holiday Shop and other social events
• Communicates with school families as well as the Community

The Dads Club has been busy working on the landscaping and painting the Cougar Paws. Thanks to Ed Heiger and our amazing group of volunteers, it is even better than we expected!

• Organized Teacher Appreciation throughout the year
• Provided “Welcome Back Breakfast and Lunch” for all teachers and staff
