Carney Cougar Read-a-Thon coming soon! 


The PTA is conducting a Read-a-Thon and we'd like your child to join in! Reading for pure enjoyment is known to enrich children's lives–plus our school will get to benefit from the money we raise!

What do you need to do? 

1. Students (with the help of their parents) will set a reading goal. They can read books, poetry, comic books, the newspaper, or listen to someone else read. Any support and encouragement you can offer would be great! Read-a-Thon is about getting the children to read and having fun while reading! 
2. Please help your child(ren) to get sponsored by friends and family. Sponsorship forms and money are due by Friday, October 11. 
3. HAPPY READING! Start recording your child's reading minutes on Saturday, October 12 using the Reading Log. Continue logging until Sunday, October 20th
4. Reading Logs are due on Monday, October 28th
